Working with diverse cultures requires us to constantly develop new ways of understanding the local context and engage with our program participants at their doorstep. Solutions that work in one context may not fit another. Listening to local perspectives to generate context-appropriate responses supported and carried out by our program participants is fundamental to our work. As a multi-faceted organization, we then seek to infuse international experience and transfer knowledge to encourage adaptive learning across borders.
Digital Young Leaders Exchange Program
We leverage technology to expand our program reach through our Digital Young Leaders Exchange Program. Schools around the world are looking for ways to give their students a more international outlook to prepare them for a future that will increasingly involve global problems and partnerships. Since exchange programs are often expensive and time-consuming to manage, we provide a platform to facilitate online chats and discussions among students from the West and the East. The Web-based exchange programs help students from diverse backgrounds find more common ground. With final projects that are collaboratively designed and presented by students on both sides of the world, students enhance their understanding of themselves and each other.
Professional Exchange Program
To help educators get continuous professional learning for FREE, we developed the Professional Exchange Program for teacher to travel in the summer to teach and to learn. Teachers expand their world horizon and bring back valuable knowledge to enhance their instruction and curriculum development.
