People-to-People Exchange
GENE brings emerging leaders to the U.S. each year on a variety of exchange programs.
Academic Exchanges
Our Academic Exchanges place international students in U.S. high schools, colleges, and universities to strengthen their leadership and various academic study disciplines while they explore U.S. culture.
Youth Program
In our Youth Programs, young people and high school students from around the globe learn about leadership, current affairs, and peacebuilding. Through these exchange programs we empower a cross section of people to participate in the development of their careers and the transformation of their communities.
International Studies Programs
Our International Studies Programs connect deeply and engage meaningfully with the US teens with the richness and complexities of another country through homestays, outdoor excursions, and meetings with local leaders and civil society groups. Program themes include cultural discovery, sustainability and the environment, language study, and community service.
Collaborative Faculty Programs
Our Collaborative Faculty Programs online and on site focus on issues surrounding management, community engagement, course and curriculum innovation, diversity and cross-cultural communication. This program will prove both challenging and rewarding and is a unique opportunity to collaborate with educators from around the world.
Teacher Education Programs
We also partner with Teacher Education Programs to customize the clinic and field experience overseas for those we are committed to work in the TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages), TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language), TCFL (Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language) fields. These experiences are designed to provide teachers with valuable resources to advance their careers and improve students’ performance.
